works great July 5, 2010 S. Kirschenmann (CA, USA) Printer works great on my iMac/Macbook. Scanning software is pretty clunky, though.
Sometimes it has a problem where the paper gets jammed due to the way the paper sits in the up right tray. If you rotate the paper 180 degrees so that the leading edge's curve is point down it fixes the problem.
I went through about 50 jammed pages before I figured that one out :/
I've Never Seen a Bigger Ink Hog in My Life July 2, 2010 Richard Hoppe (Los Angeles) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The title just about says it all. The quality of this printer is fine. I've owned many printers in my life, but this is by far the biggest ink hog I have ever had.
Used printer from China a problem June 28, 2010 Gary A. Van Hoose (Southwest USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This used printer came in good condition which was a wonder considering the box looked like it had been handled by a gorilla. The printer is working OK..... but, the problem is it came without the user guide and from China. The shipper knew it was going to America and it would have been nice if they had put it in to the English language. We have not tried real hard to put it in to English and I'm sure that we will be able to do that. Just keep in mind that this can happen when your product is coming from a country other than America. Other than that one little problem, we are happy with our purchase. Thxs.
Too Bad it Doesn't Print Money Cuz' You're Gonna Need It June 10, 2010 apensive1 (Phoenix, AZ United States) The printer itself is decent. It's relatively attractive and easy to use. The quality of copies and photos is fine. It's noisier and slower than I'd prefer, but I can live with that. What I can't live with is a printer that goes through ink so fast that I surpassed the cost of the printer after the third ink refill, and I buy the XL size refills! I find myself being extremely judicious about printing anything to try and conserve the short life of these cartridges. Don't buy it. No printer is worth this much inconvenience or money.
Broke after 1 year of limited use May 26, 2010 Alyssa Smith I don't use my printer very often, maybe twice a week at most. I expect a printer to last at least 2 years with such limited use, this one made it 15 months. The LCD display screen started fading out and became difficult to read after a year, now there is nothing on the display. At the 15 month mark it starting saying there was a paper jam even though there isn't one. I like the easy set up and never had a problem with the scanner or the print quality. The photo printing was so-so, definitely not a high quality photo printer. I just wish it wouldn't have broken so quickly.
